Al-‘Aṣr (Arabic: العصر, "The Declining Day, Eventide, The Epoch, Time") is the 103rd chapter (sūrah) of the Qur’ān, the Muslim holy book. It contains three verses (āyāt). Surat al-‘Asr is the second shortest chapter after al-Kawthar.
